    Introductory Course

    This course provides you with the knowledge and skills to explain the basic concepts and general functions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 and to use central application functionality for the most common business tasks.

    The goal for completing this course is to enable students to identify, describe, and use basic Microsoft Dynamics NAV features within General functions, G/L accounts and posting groups, Dimensions, Inventory, Purchases, Sales and Document approvals

    Financials Course

    The detailed Financials course explores the activities required to handle key financial functions within the organization such as the Cash Management, the management of VAT, Journal development and transactions, the General Ledger, and Receivables and Payables Management.

    The goal of this course is to enable students to identify, describe, and use basic Microsoft Dynamics NAV features such as how to Maintain and work with the General Ledger, Process a bank reconciliation, Use Journals and Batches, Understand Receivables Management, Understand Payables Management, Setup and work with Multicurrency as well as how to Perform standard end of year financial closing operations.

    Job Management

    This course provides you with the necessary tools to perform tasks in the job costing process, including planning a job, posting usage, invoicing, and the reclassification of costs when the Work in Process (WIP) and recognition periodic activities are used. The focus of this course is primarily on job processing activities and reviewing the posting results.

    After completing this course, students will be able to set up job posting groups, set up alternative prices and discounts for jobs, create a job card  and set up the job schedule, post job usage, invoice a job, handle job payment by installments, calculate and post  WIP and recognition and how to finalize a job.

    Inventory

    This course provides you with the knowledge and skills to set up all aspects of the inventory and basic warehousing functionality available for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018, as well as conceptual information about inventory management in general. This course demonstrates how to perform availability analysis, how to link demand with supply, how to set up multiple locations, how to organize location transfers, how to handle basic warehouse tasks, and how to set up, use, manage, trace and reserve items with serial/lot numbers.

    Fixed Assets

    This course provides you with the knowledge and skills to set up all aspects the Fixed Assets granules available for Microsoft Dynamics NAV2018.  This course demonstrates how to set up Fixed Assets, how to perform a wide variety of Fixed Asset transactions, as well as how to handle reclassification, maintenance, and insurance where Fixed Assets are concerned.
